About this vehicle

In the early 1970s, Poland started developing the Kolczatka experimental tank destroyer, focusing on high mobility and low costs compared to heavier vehicles. An open fighting compartment and a crew of four simplified construction and reduced the weight. A fire-control system with a laser rangefinder and a night sight was supposed to be a key feature. The designers also planned to use a unified chassis from Zakłady Mechaniczne Łabędy with tracks with rubber shoes, enabling the vehicle to drive at high speeds and use public roads.
