DPM
Damage Per Minute
Theoretical damage output sustained over one minute of continuous fire.
What it means
DPM (Damage Per Minute) is the single most important offensive metric for any World of Tanks vehicle. It tells you how much damage a tank can theoretically output in 60 seconds of continuous, accurate firing — and it's the foundation of every meaningful comparison between tanks of the same tier and class.

Why it matters
DPM is the great equalizer. Two tanks may have very different armor, mobility, and view range — but the one with higher DPM wins prolonged engagements. It's why low-damage, fast-firing tanks like the Bat.-Châtillon often outclass slow-loading high-alpha vehicles in extended fights.
