About this vehicle

This armored vehicle was developed in the U.S.A. in 1941–1942 and was produced by General Motors. From October 1942 to December 1943, a total of 2,844 vehicles were produced. It entered service only in the British Army and its dominions, and was not used by the U.S. Army. Several modifications existed for different purposes.
