Binocular Telescope

Binocular Telescope (Equipment)

In one sentence:

Equipment adding +25% view range after the hull sits still for a few seconds.

What it means

The Binocular Telescope boosts view range by 25%, but only activates after your hull has been stationary for about three seconds. It suits passive playstyles: bush-sitting tank destroyers, ambush scouts and defensive positions — anywhere you watch a lane without moving.

How it's calculated

Effective view range (stationary) = base view range × 1.25

Example

A 380 m TD jumps to 475 m with binos active — enough to outspot most targets crossing open ground in front of your bush.

Why it matters

For passive spotters and snipers, binos buy more vision than optics ever could — as long as you commit to sitting still.

Common pitfall

⚠ Any hull movement resets the activation timer. Twitchy repositioning means the bonus is never active when you need it.
