Terrain resistance
Terrain Resistance
Hidden stat that scales how much engine power is lost on soft, medium and hard ground.
What it means
Terrain resistance is a per-vehicle multiplier (one value each for hard, medium and soft ground) that determines how much of your engine power actually converts into movement. It is not shown in the garage, but it often explains why two tanks with the same top speed and power-to-weight feel completely different to drive.
Example
Why it matters
Effective mobility = power-to-weight ÷ terrain resistance. A tank with great resistances accelerates faster and holds speed through turns and bad ground.
