Turret Traverse Speed
In one sentence:
How fast the turret rotates, in degrees per second.
What it means
Turret traverse speed determines whether you can track fast targets circling you and how quickly you can respond to threats from a new direction. Combined with hull traverse, it defines your total rotation speed when both are turning together.
Example
A heavy with a 25°/s turret takes over 7 seconds to swing 180°. A light tank circling at close range can stay permanently outside that arc if the heavy's hull traverse is also poor.
Why it matters
Slow traverse makes a tank vulnerable to flanking and forces early pre-aiming. Fast traverse enables snap shots and self-defense in brawls.
Common pitfall
⚠ Turretless tank destroyers rely entirely on hull traverse — turning the whole vehicle bloats your dispersion and can break camouflage.
