Improved Hardening

Improved Hardening (Equipment)

In one sentence:

Equipment adding maximum hit points and much tougher suspension.

What it means

Improved Hardening raises your maximum hit points by several percent and dramatically strengthens the suspension: tracks have more HP, repair faster, and the vehicle keeps moving better while tracked. It's a pure survivability slot popular on frontline heavies that expect to trade HP all game.

Example

On a 2,000+ HP heavy, hardening adds roughly an extra shot's worth of hit points — plus far fewer full track knock-outs while crossing open ground.

Why it matters

For tanks whose job is absorbing damage, extra HP is always useful — it can't be aimed around like a weakspot.

Common pitfall

⚠ Taking hardening on low-HP snipers that should never be shot at in the first place — the slot almost always serves them better as optics or rammer.
