Vertical Stabilizer

Vertical Stabilizer (Equipment)

In one sentence:

Equipment cutting dispersion from movement and turret rotation by 20%.

What it means

The Vertical Stabilizer reduces the accuracy penalties your gun suffers while the hull moves and the turret turns by 20%. It effectively shrinks your reticle in every dynamic situation — peeking, snap-shooting, fighting on the move — and is arguably the strongest single equipment piece for tanks that shoot while repositioning.

How it's calculated

Movement/turret dispersion penalties × 0.80

Example

Peek-a-boo brawlers with a stabilizer settle their aim noticeably faster after each peek, landing shots the unequipped tank would throw into the ground.

Why it matters

Most real-game shots are taken before the reticle fully closes. The stabilizer improves exactly those shots.

Common pitfall

⚠ Not every tank can mount one — many low-tier vehicles and some classes lack access, and autoloaders often prefer it over vents when they can.
