Crew skills and perks

In one sentence:

Bonuses your crew members earn as they accumulate experience.

What it means

Every crew member in World of Tanks earns experience over battles and unlocks 'skills' (continuously active) and 'perks' (activated at 100%). Crew skills are the long-term progression system — fully-trained crews dramatically outperform stock crews.

Key skills to pick

Brothers in Arms (+5% everything for whole crew), Sixth Sense (notification when spotted), Camouflage (+stationary/moving concealment), Repairs (faster module repair), Snap Shot (better accuracy when turret rotates).

Priority order

First skill: Sixth Sense on commander. Second: Brothers in Arms on whole crew. Third: Camouflage on whole crew (for lights) or Repairs (for heavies). After that: tank-specific.

Example

A stock crew (50% basic training) on a tier-10 light loses easily 30% of effective stats vs. a fully-trained 5-skill crew. View range, accuracy, reload — everything degrades.

Why it matters

Crew training takes hundreds of battles per skill. Plan your crew long-term. A crew that goes through 5+ tanks is worth more than a fresh tier-10.

Common pitfall

⚠ Don't reset crew skills randomly — costs gold or a 10% XP penalty. Plan your skill order before clicking.
