Turbocharger

Turbocharger (Equipment)

In one sentence:

Equipment boosting engine power (~7.5-10%) and raising the top speed cap.

What it means

The Turbocharger increases engine power by roughly 7.5-10% depending on its class and nudges the vehicle's forward and reverse speed caps upward. On slow heavies it means reaching positions seconds earlier; on already-fast tanks it stretches their speed advantage further.

Example

A sluggish heavy that crests 25 km/h uphill with a turbo installed arrives at the key corner several seconds before its unequipped twin — often the difference between taking the position and fighting for it.

Why it matters

Mobility is tempo. The turbo is the only equipment that directly buys engine power and raises the speed limit.

Common pitfall

⚠ Turbo doesn't fix bad terrain resistance — a tank that wallows in soft ground will still wallow, just slightly faster.
